Many people walk in and out
of our lives but only good
friends leave footprints in
our hearts. Gary was one of
those friends.

Gary was not only a dedicated
sponsor to our junior golf
program, but more importantly
a wonderful friend who brought
joy to our lives.

We will deeply miss him and will
always honor him.

 

Gary Kent Isaacs, of Okeechobee, died Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2008, in his residence. He was 65. A 22 year resident of Okeechobee, Mr. Isaacs had served in the United States Air Force and was the owner of Barlows RV Camp in Okeechobee, a member of the Masonic Lodge 17 of Indianapolis, Ind., a member of the Okeechobee Country Club and the sponsor of Waldau's Junior Golfers of Okeechobee. Preceded in death by his wife, Joan and grandson, James Sullivan, he is survived by his mother, Margaret Brizendine of Tucson, Ariz.; two sons, Bradley Allen Isaacs (Margo) of Anderson, Ind., and Jeff Taylor (Pam) of Whiteland, Ind. He is also survived by one daughter, Cynthia Anderson (Mark) of Anderson, Ind. In addition, there are six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Pat Isaacs (Joan) of Clermont, and Michael Isaacs (Marge) of Lake Jackson, Texas. Mr. Isaacs has one sister, Melanie Neilson (Jack) of Tucson, Ariz. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Waldau's Junior Golf at P.O. Box 1976 Okeechobee, FL 34973.
